Reflections in Silence

Women and children silhouetted

in the smoky haze before me.

Reflecting magnificently

in the black marble ground.

Moving silently.

I stand before them

breathless and free of pain.

Ready to enter Heaven’s gateway.

  1. This is beautiful. Really nice image. Wouldn’tve thought of it as Heaven’s gateway. The first thing I thought of was tear gas when I saw it. My favorite one so far. 🙂
