I’m on an endless search for peace of mind. I struggle daily to find self-worth. I find solace in pain. I yearn to be heard through words and with paint on canvas.

For the weekend challenge we’re asking for exactly thirty-three words written in first person narrative. Have fun with it and we’ll meet you back here on 3/3!
I look for peace everywhere. I love being “heard” sometimes it’s rare though!
I think we all look for peace but not everyone can find it. I can relate to being heard you speak of. 🙂 Keep writing and you will be heard.
ahhhh, Vincent . . . .I hope you found your peace.
I hope he does too. Or did. Or both. 🙂
We each have our own cross to bear & our own quests:-)Great narration by “Van Gogh”.
Agreed..we indeed do. TY 🙂
This is really good.

FInding solace in pain – a tough place to be.
Yes it is. But I bet many are in that same spot.
I would love to borrow this description for school when we study some of the famous painters and artists of the world. Actually, this isn’t a mere description…that does you a dis-service….it is poetry about an artist! What a perfect combination of the Arts.
Glad you enjoyed this. And thanks for the compliment, it’s greatly appreciated. As far as borrowing it for school..shoot me an email. 🙂
I love the way you expressed these thoughts. Well done!
Thanks…that is sweet of you to say. TY
This is great! I love how well you’ve captured the artist’s voice. What a wonderful take on the prompt!
Thanks…it may be more than one artists voice. Or not. It’s up to the reader to decide.
Being heard through paint…such a lovely idea (:
If only I could paint!
So true… we bleed out our words and images the only way we know how.
Very true!
Good composition of a very human lament. annbennett2.blogspot.com

This is absolutely perfect. 😀 And it’s made that much more with the picture of Van Gogh.
